Tara Dikyikhangsar

Tara holds the belief that bringing positivity and encouragement to young children is the foundation for raising happy and successful adults. She has worked with children since 2019 and in Montessori environments for the majority of that time. Because of her background in Speech Language Pathology, she is careful to encourage all children to respond, repeat, and speak as much as possible. She believes that productive communication is the most important skill for a toddler to practice during their time in the classroom and she works to support their language development from signs to complete intelligible sentences. When not at Namaste, Tara enjoys hiking the gorges, reading and travelling. She has been to France, India, Switzerland , but loved Edinburgh Scotland most of all. She has a pet bunny named Miso.

Education and Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College.
