Vanessa Weller

Vanessa finds it rewarding to watch children develop intellectually and emotionally and grow into individuals with different gifts and talents. The innocence, natural wonder and curiosity of young children inspires her to continue to learn and grow as well. Vanessa is a mother of two boys and has worked in special education in Watkins Glen and Penn Yan and served as a board member for My Place Daycare Center in Montour Falls. She brings her patience, positivity, creativity, and her understanding of being a parent to her work with children at Namaste. Outside of her work with children, Vanessa enjoys photography and professional retouching, live music, jogging and walking, travelling, and animals!

Education and Training: Bachelors of Fine Arts (University of Georgia), Master’s of Science (NYU), Digital Imaging and Design, New York Teachers Assistant Certification, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certification and CPR Certification.
