To bring back some playfulness and joy this fall, we hosted a Trunk or Treat at Jacksonville park! The children played games and visited trunks for candy while parents connected and led activities. There was a ball toss “feed the monster” game, pumpkin painting, pin the spider on the web, and pretzels on strings. It was a wonderful afternoon despite the weather. And it was wonderful to have another use for all those great costumes!

While our classes were able to be in-person in 2020, the The COVID19 pandemic led to the cancellation of many community events and made planning events difficult. We are happy to have found a way to gather outside and celebrate the season with joy and silliness! Thank you to all the parents who decorated their trunks and came with treats for the children as a trunk or treat. And thank you to all the adults who ran games and activities in the pavilion.
At Namaste, we know community is important to families. Feeling connected helps build relationships and trust and helps children feel settled and loved. We are glad to have annual events that offer opportunities for families to gather! We hope to make this event an annual one!
