Early this November, Namaste families gathered for our second annual fall festival – a fun-filled afternoon of games, activities, and treats. The weather cooperated and families enjoyed live music from the Ditch Lilies as they laughed and played together.

The toddler, primary, and elementary families plan our annual Namaste fall festival to build community and enjoy activities together. The children earn tickets for activities they participate in and then use their tickets to “purchase” treats as prizes! The parents provided an impressive spread of delicious treats again this year. We enjoyed everything from fruit and popcorn, to muffins and brownies. Activities included face painting, pumpkin painting, ball toss, and photo booth. The children loved the pretzels on a string again this year!
Last year we had a trunk or treat event as our first annual fall festival, but the community decided to host a more fair-style event to be sure it was fun for all ages. This also removed the focus on candy!
Many community volunteers helped to make this event a success and the community is so grateful! We are also grateful for the use of Jacksonville Community park again this year. Many families made use of the beautiful park trails and benches while visiting the event.
