We’re so thrilled to be able to have a winter concert and art show again this year! The children are busy preparing songs and the elementary students will be choosing art to display.
The concert will be on Saturday, February 3rd at 3:30pm in the community room of Jacksonville Community Church. Namaste invites students in the Elementary and Primary classrooms to participate in the concert, and we invite all families to attend!
Performers should plan to arrive by 3:15 to warm up, and should dress nicely. Parking is available in the church parking lot, at Namaste and along Rt 96.
We can’t wait to celebrate the children’s love of music and art together!
The children at Namaste Montessori School participate in regular music activities either with their lead guide or with our music staff. Music is integral to education and helps inspire meaningful coordination and movement. Art is also an essential part of the curriculum. The children need these multisensory experiences to deepen their connection to the world and all they are learning. We provide annual opportunities to share the children’s work with their parents and are so happy to be bringing back the concert and art show this year to share the children’s work more broadly with the whole community.
