The faculty at Namaste Montessori School are education professionals with degrees in education, Montessori administration, Montessori teacher certification and/or vast experience with childcare. Lead guides in the Chickadee and Hummingbird classrooms are certified Montessori guides with diplomas from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS).

We are committed to offering training for our staff. Within their first year with the school, assistant guides take the CGMS assistant’s education program. And all staff in the classroom meet or exceed the rigorous requirements for teaching professionals in New York State, including background checks and continuing education. Here at Namaste Montessori School, we strive for authentic Montessori practice, working to serve each child with loving care and attention.
